Serban Reaches Final Stage of DoubleTree by Hilton Çanakkale

DoubleTree by Hilton Çanakkale, the city’s first international hotel, has reached its final stage. The hotel was built by Serban, the industrial construction company of Açık Holding, which offers technology-oriented solutions through 21 companies worldwide. Preparing to open shortly, the hotel will operate as a 5-star property and will make a difference by bringing Hilton’s worldwide standards to the city.

DoubleTree by Hilton Çanakkale Is the 3rd Hotel in Türkiye with Digital Key Infrastructure

DoubleTree by Hilton Çanakkale, the third hotel in Türkiye to be built with Digital Key infrastructure, has a total of 155 rooms, including 10 suites, 4 deluxe rooms and 1 royal suite. It also features a 150 m² multi-purpose hall, a 600 m² ballroom, 4 multi-purpose meeting rooms, 2 swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), a spa, a Turkish bath, a fitness center equipped with the latest technology and an à la carte restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating areas. The hotel’s easy access to many of Çanakkale’s key landmarks and tourist attractions adds further to its importance.

Emphasizing the hotel’s importance for Serban, Akdeniz said: “Built to the standards of an international hotel chain such as Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton Çanakkale is very valuable to us at Serban, as it is our first hotel project. The hotel was prepared in line with standards such as DNC, ASHRAE, ASTM, DIN and EN, in accordance with Hilton’s international brand standards, as well as the pre-opening QA Opening and FLS Test compliance requirements.”

Opening its doors to guests very soon, the hotel will combine Serban quality with Hilton’s brand identity and serve as a 5-star luxury hotel.

With Its Technological Infrastructure and Expert Engineering Team, Serban Will Continue to Undertake Hotel Projects

Sharing insights into Serban’s experience in critical facility construction, Serban General Manager Mehmet İlker Akdeniz said: “Serban’s technological infrastructure and expert engineering team are capable of delivering a project at this level. We focus on making a difference in everything we do and on building sustainable structures. DoubleTree by Hilton Çanakkale, whose construction we began with this confidence, is our first hotel construction project, but it will not be our last. We have also started a hotel project in Sultanahmet, the center of Istanbul’s urban tourism, and we plan to complete it in 2023.”

The Opening of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge Will Revitalize Tourism in Çanakkale

Stating that the opening of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge will also revive weekend tourism in Çanakkale, Akdeniz said: “The 1915 Çanakkale Bridge is a project we have been awaiting for some time; it will make the region easier to reach and thus increase demand for it. The bridge will position Çanakkale on a transit route and make it a stopover on the way from the Marmara Region to the Aegean Region. We are eagerly awaiting its opening. Once the bridge opens, weekend tourism in Çanakkale will also pick up with visitors from Istanbul and nearby cities, and I believe that an international hotel such as DoubleTree by Hilton Çanakkale, something the city has not had until now, will meet those expectations.” He added that the region will become a center of attraction thanks to its history, its natural beauty and its easy access to major cities.
