SERBAN and Bauwens Acquire Cologne Site for Two New Data Centers

A joint milestone in Germany: two data centers with a planned grid connection capacity of up to 90 MVA will be developed on the newly acquired Cologne site.

Through joint project companies, SERBAN and Bauwens Development have acquired a plot of approximately 26,181 m² in Cologne. Two data centers with a planned grid connection capacity of up to 90 MVA will be developed on the site.

A First for Both Partners in Germany

The site offers excellent conditions for expanding high-performance digital infrastructure. For SERBAN and Bauwens, the partnership marks a significant milestone, as this is their first land acquisition for a data center project in Germany.

Strengthening the Rhineland as a Digital Location

At the same time, the project strengthens the Rhineland’s position as an attractive location for digital infrastructure investment and complements developments already underway in the region.
